O.K. apparently the custom objects editor just doesn't like symmetry. When I shape the object a little bit asymmetrical - it works! Too bad that designes often plan symmetric stages... ;)

By the way, I'm using Magic 3D easy View Beta from 27 Aug 2012. I've tried with the regular release form 21 May 2012 as well. But here the custom objects editor seems not to work...

@Simon: I think what Waals is talking about, is that he used the second port as a DMX-thru in the past. Of course this does not work anymore as the second port NOW is a second DMX-in! @Waals: A cheap solution for you will be a simple Y-split cable. But make sure that the dead end is as short as poss...

I have been wondering about this too... It seems that this is because of the newly added 2nd DMX universe. Have you tried the other Port?
