Chase Button Crash

Post by MarkoftheWild »

I don't understand what you mean here. You want to make scenes on the master page using these lights, but you don't want them to work?
Here is a shot of how i have my screen set up. You can see the individual pages on the right side and the master page on the left.

I have the master page with scenes and switches. not attached to the master page or perhaps i should say undocked, is the par 38 page. I set up a scene/switch on the par page using just the pre programmed buttons, specifically the on, macro and chase buttons. I click on the master page to make the scene/switch reside on the master page, click the new scene/switch button and use the "as you see now" feature. so basically i create a scene/switch on a page that is not docked to the master page and save it using the as you see now feature on the master page. It works fine until i close it and restart S2. It the hangs and crashes when it tries to load one of the scene/switches i just made. When i say load scenes etc..It happens when the S2 splash screen is up and it show the scenes etc loading.
It Just happened again. It seems to happen every time I make a chase switch. This time i figured i would save on the par page. Still crashed. No matter what now it hangs at the moment it tries to load the chase button. Nothing I can do will fix it. I have to import everything again. Fortunately i have 2 installs in separate folder and am using this one as a test. My main shows are still intact, unless try to make changes like this. Here is a shot of it.

I hope this helps. Please let me know how and where to send my showfile so you can see that as well. Also is there a dump file of the crashes that I can send?

PS. Sorry for the size of the last shot. Only way you could see the text in splash screens

Hi,
Nothing I can do will fix it. I have to import everything again.
You can just delete the file (Red Chase) in the showfolder, then the show should load again.
Send your files to Simon or Dylan to get the bug fixed.

Great that this worked for you aswell !
Can you send a complete showfile including the corrupted file to dylan and simon please.
I only send my corrupted .sce file but dylan needs the complete showfile to investigate.
I don´t have my complete file on hand at the moment.

I send you a PM with the email addresses of dylan and simon.
