Video playback in secondary monitor

Post by chrisnet »

I seem to have a issue with getting video to playback in a secondary monitor "projector"!
some video's will and some wont even know they are the same format "avi".
One might playback once then the next time it wont payback.
At all times the sound plays back in both monitors.
As far as the first monitor i can get all video's to work.
It does not matter how I set up the monitor's or the computers settings i have tried everything i can think of and no luck.

I am using the current release of sunlite suite 2 if anyone has any ideas please pass them by me thanks!

Here is a update:

I changed video formats did not help
I changed computer settings did not help "secondary as main" resolutions ect.
I just downloaded all the latest updates no help
I also used a new win 7 pc and still no luck
the PC monitor is 1 and the projector is 2 then In the general settings I set the video out to secondary monitor remade the switch no luck!
the PC monitor is 2 and the projector is 1 then In the general settings I set the video out to secondary monitor remade the switch no luck!
Then I tried both again but changed the setting to video out as primary monitor remade the switch both times no luck!

I cant be the only one to have had this issue!
So I went to a local guitar center and guess what they have the same issue!

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks!

I can't reproduce this...
Which software version are you using?
Can you upload a video which sometimes doesn't work?

Maybe If I uninstalled the sunlite suite and reinstalled it would fix the issue! If I did uninstall it how would I backup the program data like shows, pages, buttons and preferences?

Thanks Chris

Hi Chris

I still cannot reproduce this problem. Could you send me a copy of the video which isn't working to try?

If you want to uninstall and re-install, go to open/save show and then hit save to save your show in one single file.

Thanks
Simon

Here is a link to the video http://youtu.be/gHN6ZHQZwU8

Also I have got it to work by replacing my Geforce GT 520 with a XFX - AMD Radeon HD 6670 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 Graphics Card
Setting the projector as main screen and setting my once main screen as second.

I still had to set up the projector as monitor one "main" and the 22" screen as monitor two! and then just moved my desktop/icons to the second screen not what I wanted because all my programs still want to launch in the main screen "Projector" every time!

What I want it to do is use the projector as screen two and the 22" screen as the main monitor and launch the video in the second "projector" Screen.

By the way my son's new HP laptop works fine its just the desktop's that I have the issue with!!!

Thanks Chris
