TRIGGERING SCENES WITH MIDI NOTES

Post by joedebono »

HI..

IS THERE A WAY TO TRIGGER SCENES USING MIDI COMMANDS OR NOTES DIRECTLY IN SUNLITE SUITE 2 WITHOUT THE NEED OF USING AN EXTERNAL MIDI CONTROL?

Yes, where are you sending the midi notes from?

hi

basically i know that it can receive notes by routing the console to switch on internally also . my problem is this...

i am using the auto setup function to detect the trigger control. i am getting the right control channel but the status is always returning to 176 on whatever control channel i give.

i am using samplitude pro which has a midi editor and have used the same method to trigger other hardware and software and everything works perfect ...

can you suggest how to work around?
thanks

I don't understand the problem. The MIDI auto detect is not detecting the correct status? If so, you could set the status manually.

whatever midi command i am giving, the console is recognizing all channels status as 176

if i try to set the status manually, it does not trigger.
