Constant Crashes when dealing with fixture groups

Whenever I make a change to a group of fixtures without embedding whatever effect I added the program always crashes. I haven't seen this problem occur in easy time editing only in live mode. I would appreciate help on a solution to this problem or an ETA on when a fix will be available.
