[BUG?] Par RGBAW-UV and trichromy

Hello all,

When we have a fixture with more than one extra color (for PAR as example) like Amber + White, in Sunlite we have no more the second bar available with the trichromy cercle color choice, we got on the standard trichromy cercle color with 1 bar for the intensity.

Is it planned to get any update on that?

Now it more and more usual to have Par with RGB AW and also UV.

Best regards,

Sylvain

P.S: Moreover, in ScanLibrary editor, the choice are not kept with this kind of channel, if you set "AMBER" as extra color, save, then reopen the SSL2 file, the setting is change to "CUSTOM".

yes, same issue... but my real issue is that I've been doing lighting for 3 years now... I had Sunlite Suite 2 and RGBAW fixtures since the beginning and 3 years later we still don't have complete support for these types of fixtures???

Yes, I have a work around, but it's not convenient nor is it what an extremely expensive and otherwise feature laden piece of software should be at this point in time...

What are the plans for integrating this directly into the color mixing section of the software?

Hi, you must define the other Channels as seperate.
You can only define RGB A or RGB W
RGBWA or RGBAW not working if you add in fixturelibrary 2x seperate channels.

Whitch device you have ?

I have Showtec Powerspot 9 Q6 and lock at my attachment

Hi Laserrichi,

Thanks for your profile, I was not thinking about using "false channel" to define other colors and have, at least W or A working in the trichomy wheel.

But after, while using 3D, we don't have the right render, I need to keep 2 profiles, one, like yours for Sunlite, and one for the 3D like mine (please see enclosed file).
