Re: Multi segment bar profile question
Question 2 in previous post resolved. I had selected the mode but the light will not respond to dmx until I go back to the ADDress menu and display the starting address. So now using the color wheel will control the light, but even though I have the profile programmed for 6 channels consisting of 2 ...

Re: Multi segment bar profile question
Ok, something else I didn't report. If I create a fixture profile in ScanLibrary for 3 channel mode (macros, colors and strobe) it works fine, 5 channel mode (Dimmer, RGB, Strobe) it works fine, 6 channel mode (RGB,RGB 2 sections DMX channels 1-6) the interface for that fixture page only shows the c...

3d Visualizer not saving fixtures
Running June 2013 beta on one machine and created a new show, added an LED bar and when I open the visualizer I see the bar and 4 moving heads from another show I have saved. Closed the program and opened the new show again and the moving heads are still shown in the visualizer but not the bar I add...

Re: Multi segment bar profile question
Also, worth mentioning, in the very first dialogue box when creating a new fixture, next to the fixture picture I selected the box labeled "1 light beam" and changed it to 16 light beam count. I assume that is purely for the sake of the 3D visualizer to accurately render the light characte...

Re: Multi segment bar profile question
Looking at the ScanLibrary editor, when creating the LED Bar profile, I can select the RGB icon, drag and place onto the Mode window and RGB comes up on channels 1,2 and 3. If I do the same procedure again, it shows a second RGB segment on Channels 4,5 and 6 which is what I want. Why is it though th...

Re: Multi segment bar profile question
Just to be clear, my ultimate goal is to have 10 bars stacked and controlled by Sunlite Suite2's matrix controller function to generate the built in matrix shapes in sunlite. I think I would need each bulb to be it's own RGB segment. I also use Freestyler DMX which I started with, but I'm trying to ...

Re: Multi segment bar profile question
I've made some limited success. In the scan libray editor, I first select an RGB and drag to the mode window for DMX Channels 1,2 and 3. Then I dragged a Color icon into the mode window, renamed it red 2 and dragged a dimmer into the value/parameter box. Repeated this procedure to make a green and b...

Multi segment bar profile question
I am now trying to create a fixture profile for an LED bar that has 16 tri LED bulbs in it. It has multiple DMX modes (3ch, 5ch, 6ch,12ch, 12ch, 24ch and 48ch). I made profiles for all modes and the 3ch and 5ch modes work great. The problem is in the other modes that are just multiple segments of RG...

Scan Library Setting for creating new fixture profiles
1. I'm trying to create fixture profiles for our new products that we will be showing at the DJ expo in 2 weeks and while creating a fixture and filling in the fields, I click on the "Picture" box located at the top right of the profile settings page. When I click on it to change the pictu...

How to set up blackout button
I'm creating a scanLibrary fixture profile for an RGB moving head very similar to the Martin Mac 101. I have all the channels set and everything runs great except for the white and black circles at the top of the page that turn the beam on (white) or blackout (black). When first tryinmg them they di...

Re: 3d Visualizer Graphics card issue
Sure Simon, no problem. I adjusted the power scheme of the laptop. In windows 8 it was set to "balanced" which balances CPU and GPU with battery life. That can cause problems as it throttles back the raw power of the processors. Turned the power settings to power user or whatever the most ...

Re: 3d Visualizer Graphics card issue
I made sure my video card as assigned to run the 3d visualizer in Sunlite Suite2 instead of the integrated graphics card, and I made sure nothing else was using the graphics cards as far as any other programs. Sunlite was the only thing running., If I go to the render options on the 3d visualizer an...

Anyone? Fellow Sunlite Suite2 users, Simon, Admins? I've posted several questions on this forum and haven't received a single answer to any of them. Also see other who posted and never got a reply to their questions.

June 2013 Beta Update Bug
Just installed the June 2013 Beta an so far everything works except for a possible bug I found in the Easytime Chase effect. I created a scene according to the video tutorials and in the channel Mixer window I dragged and dropped the Easytime icon on the channels for Pan/Tilt and color and then comp...
