Re: Control DE3 over IP

Hi there,

Unfortunately with the Stick-DE3 firmware 2.1, the remote protocol no longer supports TCP packets. You must use UDP packets on port 2430 instead.

We need to update the documentation to reflect this. The last firmware that supported TCP remote protocol was 1.13.

Kind Regards,

Nick.

Re: Tunable White Color Wheel

Hi Jon, Is this an RGB WW CW or similar? It is possible to control the RGB and the WW / CW channels independently from the colour wheel. For this to work ... - The Stick-DE3 must be programmed with the correct profile for your lights. You may need to modify an existing _generic / RGB profile to add ...

Re: Syncing clocks

Hi Kurt, You can see the time scenes are supposed to start in the HardwareManager > Stick-DE3 > Clock > Sunrise Sunset Calculator section. You can set an offset to this in the ESA2 or ESA Pro software by X number of hours for each scene. > things that are scheduled to run at Sunset are starting way ...

Re: SLESA-U8 firmware update on MAC using ESA2

Hi,

You need to use HardwareManager software which is included with ESA2.

1) Connect SLESA-U8 by USB
2) Load HardwareManager (make sure ESA2 is closed)
3) Select your interface on the left
4) Select Firmware button
5) Update firmware

Now try connecting to ESA2.

Kind Regards,

Nick.

Re: Router freezes KU1

Hi, The first thing I would check is the power supply. For the Stick-KU1 to function properly it needs 9 volts or the touch panel will not respond and could malfunction. The Power Adapters will lose voltage over time. It could be that connecting the ethernet requires a little extra power than is ava...

Re: Easyremote big problem

Hi, Easy Remote uses UDP messages for data transfer because they are very fast for triggering events. The downside of this protocol is the messages can get lost on a busy networks. Also, the more complex your console, the more chance there is that some of your design will not appear. Unfortunately w...

Hi jrukavina, Thank you for pointing out the error. There was a temporary website problem which I have now fixed. > my next question is there anyway to use all 3 universes in stand alone. No, you only have 2 universes in Standalone mode. This is due to a hardware limitation. > will suite 3 or esa pr...

Re: Changelog

Hi Aslonnes,

We will be turning the current beta version of Sunlite Suite 2 (05/09/2018) into an official version very soon. A list of bug fixes will be posted when this happens. One key fix is that the Suite 2 beta version (05/09/2018) works with the Sunlite-EC.

Kind Regards,

Re: Calendar - two scenes at the same time?

Hi Kurt, Thank you for your showfile. > Does the "Stop" field need to be checked to make sure the Off command releases control once it has run? Yes. Explanation below. The showfile looks good except for one small error. On your Overrides layer, you must check the stop checkbox for your Off...

Re: hardware for 3 universes

Hi, Which hardware have you got? For example, is it a Suite2-FC or FC+? If so, the hardware (called SIUDI-7B) will look identical to that for the SLESA-UE7 shown in the datasheet below. https://storage.googleapis.com/nicolaudie-eu-litterature/Release/siudi_7b_datasheet_en.pdf You can see the 3 pin a...

Re: Calendar - two scenes at the same time?

Hi Kurt, Thank you for your message. Your setup should work. It could be a bug with the negative value. You could try setting up the white global scene to trigger at exactly sunset everyday (i.e. no negative value) and then then set the override scene to trigger at +1 minute. Does this fix it? I wou...
