dmx in module

greetings -

i just purchased a new dmx _in_ module - driver seemed to install ok - all of the led's look normal, but there is no dmx input on the dmx tab.

I am using a standard 24 handle console for dmx

what do i need to know to make this work

First make sure that the software recognize the DMXIN interface.
At load time it should say:

Sunlite 2004
Version date
SIUDI IN

If it does you should see on the Outputs window a small DMX IN button below the DMX OUT button.

All this is should be done regardless you have a DMX console connected or not.

Clicking on the small DMX IN button you should see DMX coming to the software.

yes - the software does see the dmx input module - the startup screen shows my sudi in module and my sl 512 out module

the "outputs" window does have a tab for dmx in -

and when i edit a button - i have a tab for dmx in

I have a simple 24 handle dmx console attached to the input module
( have verified that the console does work and sends out dmx )
it is patched for dmx addresses 1 - 24

but i never see any data at the computer - no data in the "input" tab on the edit screen ... and no data in the dmx in window of the outputs screen

i have all of the appropriate led's on the module

is there some software setup required for the dmx in to the software

please let me know
