Hi,
I have a SUIDI 5A, it is functioning correctly, i used it in a standalone situation on a temporary job late last year, and had no problems with it.
I am now planning on using it in a permanent installation on a monument that is currently running on an IP1. (i want to take the IP1 out because it is over spec for this job).
Would you recomend that i use this device (5A) here, I only ask because of the inherant problems with this model. I dont want to put it in and then it fail in standalone.
I am also scared to update any drivers or firmware to this device as it is operating as intended.

Is there any known issues using this device with calender functions???

Is the recall still in place these items?

Looking Forwards to your reply.

Regards, Mick

Hi Mick

The interface should work fine, just a few things to check:

I would also advise updating to the latest firmware. However note that this interface is only 32bit compatible.

Hi Simon B,
thankyou, I've checked the chip, It has the Sipex, and there is no component missing from the board. And I am using a 32 bit netbook to program with. So it looks like I am in the clear.
I am alo planning on using a USB power supply instead of the extenal power option.
Thanks for your help on this.
