You must create a blackout button in the master page, it must be a switch.

to do a total blackout you must first make a switch then it will ask if you want to edit click yes and go and put all the lights to 0% thats all you have to do

you don't even need to edit. new switch...empty.

I do that in a different way, I asign to the black gobo of all my features a key trigger like "space". It's works for me, It's that ok?

Yes that should produce the quickest blackout.
