Can I use a smoke machine with DMX?

Is it possible to use a smoke machine such as an American DJ Fog Storm 1700 and set up a switch (momentary) to make the smoke machine come on just as it would with the regular factory switch via DMX. I've had no luck with this. Thanks

I can not see why this should not be possible. You can setup a switch a limited duration from the "Button settings" window.
