.x files are not true DirectX Format

Post by nidocamen »

I need to build some 3d scenes using sunlite's objects, but they don't convert to 3ds objects or any other 3d format. In fact, the various converters that I have tried (3dwin, quick3d prof) can't even open the .x files because it says they are not a valid directx format.

So Sunlite..............what format are these files and have they been altered to be not usable in anything other than Easy View???? I am very frustrated!!!!!

Hello,

You're right, you can not use our objects with other softwares...
They have a ".x" extension but they are encrypted.

Sorry, It's not against users...

However, you can open classic ".x" with our 3D.
thanks for playing...
