Change color (rgb) for group?

Post by pileo »

Hello,

How can I change the color (with the rgb color picker) for a group of lights?
Tried the live function but everytime I choose a color in the rgb-picker, all lights are updating color.

Thanks!

You have 2 options to do it:
- create a separate page for the group you want to change
- create a switch that changes colors of the selected group
If you change a color inside a page it will touch all of its fixtures

Yes the best option would be to create a separate switch for each group inside the color mixing zone. You need to assign the dimmer property to the color mixing channels

Alternatively, you could duplicate the color mixing switch a few times and then press REC in the live window to select groups and change the color. You can only make 1 group per button so by creating 4 color mixing buttons you could pick a color for up to 4 different groups. We're looking to improve on the 'on the fly' color mixing in a future version.

How can I do this? Or is there a better method now?
