Control with an Octapad

Post by scheno »

Hi,
I would like to control scene, switches and cycles with a Roland Octapad.
Is it possible to do that without creating a console?
How can I add Midi Note Numbers directly to a button in Sunlite Suite 2?
e.g Scene 1 - C3 (Octapad Program01 Pad1 = C3)
Scene 2 - C#3 (Octapad Program01 Pad2 = C#3)
...
...
...
Scene 20 - F#5 (Octapad Program08 Pad1 = F#5)

Thanks and Regards

Hi Scheno,

This must be done through the console, however you could load one of the existing consoles such as a keyboard or set of sliders. Right click a control to assign a MIDI command.

Hi simonB,
thank you for the answer. It is working very well now.
I have another question now.
Is it possible to set the dimmer from 0% to 100% 5 seconds after starting a MH Scene?
I tried a lot of combinations with the dimmer or fading functions but it don't work.
Thank you
TGIF
