CHASE: Change colors and size on the fly?

Hi
I know this has been asked before but I did not find the answer I need in the forum.
I want to change the Chase color and size of the chase on the fly.
I have tried using the console trying to "link to console" through "control color selector effect" and/or "control size effect" but I don`t know how this works.
Also I tried using the ADD and SUB properties from the switches but not with the results I want.
Any ideas?
Someone has done this before?
