Sunlite Suite 2 + windows XP

Hi all,

Today i tried to install the newest version of sunlite suite 2 on my lenovo laptop running windows xp sp3.

Unfortunately it won't work. It's complaining about a missing dll file (mfplat.dll).

Have any of you experienced the same problem? Is it possible to fix or should I go for an older version? In that case, where can I download older versions?

I'm not sure which version of sunlite suite 2 I had before, but I think it's a about 3 years old.

My sunlite version is: SUNLITE SUITE 2 BASIC CLASS bought in 2013.

Hi Bassques,

Unfortunately we no longer support Windows XP as it is now 16 years old. We support Windows 7, 8 and 10.

I have the same problem (mfplat.dll and mf.dll missing) but I'm on Windows 10 N ?
Is that the "N" that I can't run SunliteSuite 2 ?

Hi rsteph483 ,

I am sorry seems that Windows 10N does not support Media Play back capabilities and therefore does not support Sunlite Suite 2 as it relies on media libraries included with the standard version of Windows.

Windows N editions were created as a solution to anti-trust law suits brought against Microsoft for bundling Media Player with Windows.
