cycle taking 8min to update

Cycle was going smooth, but after adding more record, takes 8 mins to update when selecting/activating it, or pressing stop, or pause.
...
Does a cycle take a limited number of entries, before becoming bogged down?
I've only reached half a song, but with a 15min lead in time (empty period).
...
Do any settings make it so sluggish?
