Time triggering issue

please help i feel sorta like im missing somthing very obvious here but i dont know what!

I set up the time triggering on a button I set the time on and time it ends and at the bottom of the screen select the "trigger on/off each time trigger" and thats all I set. I am using straight software without a box just to figure out what settings i need to make this button simply GO ON at a time and then GO OFF on another! What only happens is the tigger on time activates the button but when the time comes for the software to OFF the button nothing happens. It stays activated. Please expalin what im doing simply wrong with this
