If I purchase a Sunlite-BC now will it be software upgrade able to at least a full universe out over the interface itself and external midi control?

Yes absolutely. You would need to buy the following SUT upgrades for your Sunlite-BC for 1 universe and midi support in SS3 ...

2 x 128 channels - Live = $58 (these work regardless of what Nicolaudie software is connected)
Sunlite Suite 3 full mode = $89 (midi support in SS3)

However, you may wish to wait for the Sunlite-EC which I expect to be released in a few weeks from now. The hardware is almost ready.

No, it does not. You would need to purchase each Artnet universe for $99. Like 128 channel upgrades, Artnet universe upgrades can be used with Sunlite Suite 2 and 3.
