Suite 3 new system, new shopping features

Post by pelyhe »

We've been selling the software for a long time. Old USB hardware supported push-button startup. Based on the current descriptions, I do not know whether the EC button has the old push button option. In the past, when I bought a yellow box from you, there were 10 spikes and the ports could be assigned to the software. Now I bought two EC sets, but it only works with a registration card. Because I'm not going to use it, but a client, so I can't check if I bought him good. He also wants to use IO ports. In the current version, is this capability included or not?
Last year I bought an EC version, this function still worked.

Hi pelyhe,

With the Sunlite-BC and Sunlite-EC models, the 8 Dry Contact Ports are not enabled by default. They can be actovated for $29 (+ local taxes) at our online store. https://store.dmxsoft.com/

Kind Regards,

Nick.

I just bought a "SUNLITE-FC". Is it true that it does not offer any dry contact pins at all, as opposed to the cheaper interfaces?

I also miss the Kensington lock cut-out in the metal box, which I need for securing the box to my laptop and a solid object at gigs. Can I try to add this myself to the casing, without voiding the 2 year warrantee? Do the cheaper interfaces still offer this hole?

And finally, on the front page/hardware page you talk about the "NEW 2020 DMX INTERFACES". Is it true that there's a difference between "SUNLITE-EC 2020" and "SUNLITE-EC (before 2020)"? And perhaps between "SUNLITE-FC 2020" and "SUNLITE-FC (before 2020)"? I'm a bit afraid that if I received the latter one, my future software upgrade period gets reduced? Or did the last product mentioned never exist?
