Firware problem! HELP NEEDED URGENTLY

while trying to solve the problem of winXP not recognizing the interface, I had upgraded the firmware to Nov. 23, 2004 version. The upgradation was successfull as per the message shown, but since then, nither windows 2000 nor win 98 recognizes the interface.

Earlier it was working fine in both win 98 and win2k. the serial no of the interface is 1201116. PLEASE HELP, I have got many shows lined up.

Can you tell me the color of the switch (red or black) at the back of your interface ?

the color of the power selector switch is red, the color of the the next & prv. buttons are black.
