Stick1 for architectural lighting

Post by philward »

Hi, I am programming a stick1 using ESA Pro. I cannot see how it is possible to simply turn on a light and then turn it off again using a pushbutton switch connected to a port (like a traditional light switch) The light turns on but there seems no way to turn it off without switching another scene. Do I have to provide a separate switch to turn off? Also is it possible to have a dimmer function when a switch is held - eg. To dim up or down and hold the setting.

Hi. Using a standard push button connected to one port will not allow you to create an on/off switch . You need to make a relay which will trigger a different port every second press, or a different port if the switch is ON or OFF.

Another option would be to wire the switch to your lighting driver
