Hi,
I have a Siudi7. Is it possible to control this with a midi controller?
If so, any useful tips?
Cheers,
Andy

Re: using midi?
Hi Andy
No. The siudi7 doesnt have a MIDI connection. The triggering options are:
-Dry contact ports. Bridge one of the pins with the ground pin to trigger the scenes. Combine the ports in binary to create up to 255 triggers
-IR 36Khz remote control. See the remote triggering video tutorial on nicolaudie tv for more info on how to set this up
-Internal clock and calendar inside the interface

Re: using midi?
Hi,
I've used MIDI on several Nicolaudie interface with a MIDI-DMX converter - see www.response-box.com/gear/
Good luck!
Erwin
PS: Their hardware is "universal" and with firmware changes you can mix'n match several protocols - MIDI-DMX-RS232...
