Hi,
I have a SL512EC and a PC running Sunlite Suite.
I am trying to use ArtNet to control the DMX In feature of Sunlite.
I have created a page where channels 1-512 are patched to DMX In 1-512.
I also have another application generating ArtNet on the same PC.
When I try to use the DMX input function under "Starting Parameters" and select "PC-Ethernet #1" (I assume this is ArtNet universe 0) I do not get any DMX In.
I have tried turning "Network Facility" on and off and changed IP addresses, and it still didn't work.
Am I doing something wrong?
I have tried ArtNet version 1 and version 2.
I checked to see if ArtNet was really there using Artistic License's "DMX Workshop" program, and there was ArtNet yet Sunlite can't find it.
I hope there is a fix to this.
Thanks,
sborder

Re: ArtNet Input
There is not Art-Net output with the SL512EC product, you would need a SL1024EC.

Re: ArtNet Input
on the SL1024EC is the same Problem, only the IP-Boxes work with Ethernet.

Re: ArtNet Input
It should work with SL1024EC if it is correctly configured.

Re: ArtNet Input
Hi,
I am not trying to output ArtNet from Sunlite, I am trying to input ArtNet to control various DMX channels.
Basically I am using a Sunlite box to control several intelligent lights, and I want to use ArtNet to control the rest of the lights and various functions of Sunlite.
Thanks,

Re: ArtNet Input
If you want to control Sunlite Suite by artnet this is what you need to do...
1.Purchase a SLESA-IP interface and use it as an art-net to DMX converter. (or purchase any other artnet-DMX converter)
2.Connect the DMX from the artnet converter to the input of your SL2048FC interface and make sure DMX input is enabled within the starting parameters
3.Map the DMX commands to a button/faders within the console panel in Sunlite Suite
4.map your buttons to the dials/fader on the console panel
