Hi,
I have found some bugs in Beta Nov,3,2010.
1_
Go to "Controller"----->"Console"----->right click on any fader----->choose tab "edition" right click on "New" choose "Control editor channel fader"
In the pop up windows "index"-----> I can write any number here, but SUITE 2 ONLY REMEMBER NUMBER 1 no matter which one number I wrote.
2_
If I try to save my show without interface connected------->Suite 2 CRASHES.
Thanks a lot.

Hi again,
Console does´t work fine.
An example:
I go to Master page---->create 2 new switches I choose "Reset other buttons when activatet" for the two switches.
I assign A fader on my midi console to activate switch "A" and the same fader for DIMMER.
I assign B fader on my midi console to activate switch "B" and the same fader for DIMMER.
I rise Up fader A----->switch "A" is activated. Then, I rise Up fader B---->switch "B" is activated and fader A in midi console rises down.
After some changes--fader A up---->fader B up ----and so on------->midi console does´t receive correct feedback(faders A and B could be Up)
Thanks a lot.

Yes, that´s true.
There is also an other bug here, when you type in the numbers with the computer keyboard in the "Index" field the button triggers aren´t deactivated and
the lights go crazy. This has been fixed in many places of Suite2, but here it´s till there.
If I try to save my show without interface connected------->Suite 2 CRASHES.
I test with XP and Windows 7 but I can´t reproduce this.
Can you tell me step by step, please.

Hi,
I Use Windows 7x32 and Win 7x64 and get same results.
Load any show---->"open save show" select "save"----->then suite crashes.
Thanks for your observations.

O.K. I get it to crash once, but I can´t reproduce this every time.
Does it crash on your computer all the time ?

Suite crashes Most of times I try to save my show without the interface connected.
Now I can see what you are talking about, I try to save my show 3 times today and it crashes every time.
This is very annoying, once Suite 2 crashes so hard that all the fixture patches were gone.
I send a crash log to Dylan, I hope he can find and fix this soon.

There seems to be a problem with the open/save dialog as these problems are re-occuring on xp/vista/7 on all functions such as importing a fixture background image, importing a show, importing an icon, opening a midi console inside the console builder, etc....
Dylan is away this week but he will take a look next week...
Regarding the index bugs, I've logged these

Yes, but it seem like Lennon616 is right, it only happens when no interface is connected.
I saved my show very often last night with an DMX interface connected to my laptop and the software didn´t crash once while saving.
But I found an other bug, sometimes Suite 2 will freeze when moving fixtures on the fixtures window.
I didn´t found a way to reproduce this yet, but I happen three time last night.
