i have a problem to blackout all with my midi controller (akai lpd8)
i have linked the master dimmer to one of the pads of the lpd8 controller.
whatever i try i cannot change the way it reacts.
activating the pad sets the dimmer to on and inactivating to off but i want it the other way round.
inactive pad = dimmer full on, activate pad = BLACKOUT
an other problem is that the trigger function is not behaving right.
when i push the pad the transmitted value is how hard i hit the pad (soft hit = value 50, hard hit = value 127)
activating other buttons are no problem but i would like that a soft hit would toggle the dimmer to on or off like described before.
please help me.

Re: Blackout mith midi controller
Assign the button like you normally would
Right click the corresponding button inside the Console window
You should see a command entry "button activation", double click it
swap the in active level and outside active level

Re: Blackout mith midi controller
i cannot find the command entry "button activation"
in the live tap there is the general dimmer.
in the midi command settings the trigger level is active with the settings:
in active level: off
outside active level: on
the blue space is betwenn 102 and 127

Re: Blackout mith midi controller
Then you have assigned a general dimmer, not a button activation. Shift+right click your blackout button and select link to console->button activation.in the live tap there is the general dimmer.
