Control of 2 sticks

For one project, we want to control 2 sticks at the same time.

We mean (if we push scene 1 in one stick, the same function is done in the 2 sticks). Is this possible connecting them together or via ethernet?

Thank you!

Roberto

Hi Roberto

Yes this is possible with the latest firmware and ESAPro version.
-Make sure both STICKs have different IP addresses, these can be set using the tools.exe application
-Connect both STICKs and your PC to the same network
-Select to start ESAPro using the 2 STICKs detected on the network
-Write your show when both STICKs are connected. The same show will be written to both STICKs and they will follow each other

Next month we will be releasing a new version of ESAPro and a new STICK firmware which will allow you to save different scenes onto different STICKs and choose whether to synchronise pages or not

Oh.. this just answered a question that I posted on the Hardware forum.

I figured it would save time if i did all my programming in one show, duplicated the save file, and then saved separate scenes (and areas) to 2 separate sticks.
It seems that ESA pro tried to be clever and synchronised them for me!

I didn't really want that :)
Maybe if i back-date the firmware it will solve this?

If not I guess I will have to wait till next month to sort it out. I am just glad to hear that I'm not completely crazy.
