S3 - Phasing Issue

Had the same issue in S2...
NEW Scene or Switch - Set up an FX on Easyshow - 2 States.
Use phase, Frost - it will forget Unit 1.
Use phase, Focus & Zoom - it will leave Unit 1 @ FL.
If you apply a fade time, seems to fix this issue. Regardless, its a bug - if its not, then write it in the manual!
