S3 - Curve FX

So,
Why do i select a Curve Effect and i get a dialog box asking me to select what channels? Red, Green and Blue
Then when in the curve effect menu, you have to then select if you want it on Red, Green or blue?
I want to affect all channels, but i don't want to do the same thing three times!
MAKE THIS SELECTION BOX AN OPTIONAL EXTRA NOT AUTOMATIC & DO A SELECT ALL BUTTON NOT INDIVIDUAL TICKS.
