add a Universe

Good morning,
I need to use 2 DMX universes.
I have the Sunlite - EC case (see image).
I connected the DMX cable with a group of devices in series to XLR 1 of the Sunlite box, is it Universe 1?
Do I need to connect another DMX cable with another group of devices in series to the XLR 2 of the Sunlite box for the Universe 2?
Can you tell me if I understood correctly?
