Hello

I just received consignment of 3 pcs of SIUDI5 C.

When I tried to run any one of them using the smple VB code (obtained from http://www.nicolaudie.com/big/visualbasic_siudi.zip , it says "Interface Not FOund" and no DMX stream is generated either

The following have been done

1) Intel USB system check -Fully succesful

2) USB detection of device succesful

3) All USB drivers copied during first time detection of device

4) DasHardVB.dll copied to System32

Computer = 930MHz , 256 RAM , WinXP Home

What could be wrong ?

Hello

After my last post, I have discovered a hardware manual 'hidden' in the CD rom supplied

The status that I can now see is...

- Power LED (Yellow) is lit

- DMX LED (Red) is blinking steadyly at a fast rate. On testing DMX output,
Ave. BREAK = 91 microsec & Ave. MAB = 17.5 microsec is obtained
with no data activity.

- A green LED which should be blinking if software control is established
is NOT blinking. In fact, I can see 'a LED' near the USB connector but I
am not sure if it the green one since it has not lit up till now.

- running slmini.exe also gives a " NO INTERFACE ! " prompt

- DHC_OPEN command gives a negative return value (-1) when
monitored in the VB6 sample code

- There are no figures for SIUDI-5C in DHC_OPEN int param or return
value(int). SIUDI-EC values (=11) don't hold good.

- In fact, there is not much tech data on SIUDI-5C.

I have a deadline.........

We don't have any sample source code in Visual Basic for this product.

Here is the link for the C++ sample:
